  • The Rosary

The rosary is for meditating on Christs lief and seeking Mary’s intercession. Originating in the 13th Century, it was promoted by St. Dominic, blending Our Fathers, with decades of Hail Mary’s and the mysteries of Divine scripture to enhance devotion and contemplation on Jesus’ salvific work.

The rosary’s use of repetitive prayers echoes the Jewish practice of reciting Psalms. Early Christians adapted this practice to meditate on Christs life. The Psalms, like the Rosary, offer rhythmic prayer, fostering reflection and a deeper connection with the Divine.
